Control your fleet's energy costs and uptime — resilience over volatility

Electrifying

your heavy BEV fleet

In Australia, a heavy vehicle is defined under the Heavy Vehicle National Law as a vehicle with gross or trailer mass over 4.5 tonnes, regulated by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. New Zealand applies the same threshold — covering rigid trucks, prime movers and tippers used for freight, waste and construction.

As C&I businesses look to electrify their heavy truck fleets, three problems are holding the transition back: grid connection and route charging that demand coordination most operators aren’t set up for, an operational burden most fleets never wanted to take on, and a shift into industrial-scale energy management that the LCV playbook doesn’t prepare them for. None of these are vehicle problems alone. Each represents a gap that energy providers, charging specialists and infrastructure companies are positioned to close. Electrification also opens a door diesel never could: the battery needed to manage depot charging demand can also become a revenue-generating grid asset in its own right.

ASSET LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

Jump Energy’s Consultation & Design services manage your transition into an industrial-scale HV energy consumer — negotiating network agreements, sizing HV metering, and structuring tariffs for depot-scale charging. Our Energy-as-a-Service team then delivers ongoing distributed energy resource (DER) management, orchestrating your site’s load and assets in coordination with the grid.

BATTERY STORAGE

Jump Energy designs and manages your depot battery to do double duty — buffering truck charging demand and participating in grid services or tariff optimisation when capacity is free, turning EV charging infrastructure you need into an additional, ongoing revenue stream for the business.

CHARGING

Our EV Charging solutions are built for reliable depot operation, and our Energy-as-a-Service model takes ongoing ownership of it — monitoring uptime, responding to faults and managing charging software day to day. Your team never has to become charge point operators; we keep the EV chargers running, so you can keep your truck fleet moving.

FLEET

Jump Energy’s Consultation & Design services model your fleet’s real duty cycle — mapping actual loads, routes and towing needs against LCV electrification requirements. We match the right EV charging setup to your business, so electric LCV range and payload work for your business from day one.
